ADMISSION LIST

Admission lists are the names of successfully admitted applicants offered provisional admission into an institution.

Institutions usually release the admission lists after the conduct of the admission screening exercise.

However, it comes in different batches; 1st batch is (Merit List) followed by 2nd, 3rd and other batches.

UNICAL admission list which contains the names of candidates offered provisional admission into the various first degree programmes offered by the university has been uploaded online.

How to Check 2025 UNICAL Admission List

Currently, candidates can only access their UNICAL admission status on the JAMB admission status checking portal by following the procedure outlined below:

1. Go to the JAMB admission portal at https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility_/.

2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.

3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.

4. Select your Exam year and enter your registration number in the required column.

5. Finally, click on ‘Check Admission Status‘ to access your UNICAL admission status.

What to do Next?

Candidates successfully admitted into the University of Calabar (UNICAL) first degree programmes are advised to:

➛ Login to their JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and ACCEPT or REJECT their admission.

➙ Print their JAMB admission letter after accepting the admission.

➛ Print their original JAMB result slip (this comes with passport photography affixed to it).

➙ Apply for a change of course on the JAMB Portal in case they are offered courses different from the ones they initially applied for.

➛ Candidates not yet admitted should note that admission is in progress, and regularly check the JAMB site and the University website for their admission status.

NOTE: This post will be updated immediately the list is available on the university website.

1. Go to the UNICAL admission status checking portal at https://myunical.edu.ng/post-utme/check-admission.aspx

2. Login with the JAMB Reg Number to access your UNICAL admission status.

NOTE:

➛ Candidates whose names appear on this list are please advised to login to the JAMB portal to either ACCEPT or REJECT their admission offers within 72 hours from the date of this publication, failure which the admission may be REVERSED.

➙ Those YET-TO-BE admitted and whose scores fall within the approved cut-off mark with the required subject combination are advised to check the school portal regularly to know their admissions status.

➛ Candidates are advised to go on the JAMB portal to accept admission if they have not done that already.

Ans = You can check your admission status using the school’s website or JAMB admission portal.

Ans = If your name is not on the admission list yet, don’t be afraid, KEEP CHECKING. 

4. Please I need to know. Batches of UNICAL admission list will be released this year.

Ans = We are not certain of that, as it depends on the school management. Though from experience, the school releases up to three batches.
