The University of Lagos is a prestigious university. The management also established the UNILAG payment portal for her students. More so, they also committed themselves to providing high-quality teaching, learning, research, and community service.

UNILAG has a portal where her students can make payments. This is in order to make the process easier. Thus, as a student of the University, you can make payment to the school account from anywhere.

However, the student must have a good computer and mobile phone that has internet accessibility. Or, perhaps, visit a cyber café.

The University of Lagos (UNILAG)

The University of Lagos is popularly known as UNILAG. And it is a public research university in Lagos, Nigeria. Also, it is one of the five first generation universities in Nigeria. It was founded in 1962.

Furthermore, it presently has three Campuses in the Mainland of Lagos. Whereas. two of its Campuses are located in Yaba. The main campus is in Akoka. And the recently created campus is at the former School of Radiography.

Also, its College of Medicine is in Idi-Araba, Surulere. And the Lagos lagoon largely surrounded its main campus and has 802 acres of land.

UNILAG Post UTME Eligibility Requirements

Below are the eligibility criteria for UNILAG Post UTME:

1. Candidates who made the University of Lagos their first choice and scored 200 and above are eligible for screening.

Additionally, candidates must possess five (5) credit passes at one sitting in relevant O’level subjects including English Language and Mathematics.

2. Former students of the University whose admission was withdrawn because of poor academic performance.

Alternatively, absence status could re-apply on the condition that the new admission shall be for a new programme/course different from the former programme/course.

3. However, any student expelled from the University cannot be offered fresh admission.

UNILAG Portal: How to Apply for UNILAG Post UTME Form

Eligible candidates should log on to the University of Lagos website: https://unilag.edu.ng.  And then, take the following steps:

1. Click on Admissions.

2. Also, click on Post-UTME Application.

3. Furthermore, log in with a UTME number than username and surname in lowercase as password.

4. Additionally, generate and print payment advice.

5. Proceed to any commercial bank to make a payment or pay online.

6. Return to the University portal, upload passport photograph and complete the application form.

7. Print Post-UTME Examination Pass.

However, more enquiries or further clarification may be got via e-mail: [email protected]lag.edu.ng. Please, advise candidates to adhere strictly to the guidelines and get necessary clarifications.

UNILAG Portal: Requirements for UNILAG Screening Exercise

1. Accreditation of candidates commences at

00 am each day. Candidates should adhere strictly to the time scheduled for the screening examination.

2. Print out the Application Form from the University Portal and come along with it for

your screening and POST UTME/DE evaluation

3. Also, note that the date and time for each candidate’s examination will be shown on the POST UTME / DE PRINT-OUT.

2025/2026 UNILAG Post UTME Restrictions

1. Only bona fide candidates/candidates scheduled for the day’s examination and time shall be allowed into the University / Examination Hall.

2. Thus, parents and guardians are, therefore, strongly advised against attempting to enter the University Campus as security will be tight.

3. Also, no GSM handsets, scientific calculators or any other extraneous materials shall be allowed into the examination hall.

4. Furthermore, candidates who did not register online will not be allowed for the screening exercise.

5. Additionally, the University will not be liable for any payment made with the wrong JAMB registration number at the Bank.

6. Also, the University shall also not be liable for any fraudulent payments made anywhere that is not in line with the directives of the University.

Select the category you belong to. You will see categories like student, staff and others.
