The authorities of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) have released the Direct Entry (DE) admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The university originally had six schools in 1977:

➛ School of Humanities

➙ School of Social Sciences

➛ The School of Biological Sciences

➙ School of Chemical Sciences

➛ School of Physical Sciences

It changed from a school system to a faculty system in 1982. The university now has twelve faculties:

How to Check UNIPORT Direct Entry Admission List

UNIPORT direct entry merit admission list has been successfully uploaded online. Follow the link below to access your admission status.

Successfully admitted candidates are expected to:

1. Visit the University website regularly for clearance requirements/procedures.

2. Ensure they login to JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and accept their admission, as well as print their Admission Letter.

NOTE:

➛ Candidates whose admission status shows “not admitted” should keep checking the JAMB website for further updates.

➙ Please note that the Admission List will be published in batches on the University’s website as they are processed.

Candidates are therefore advised to keep on checking the university’s website for the Admission List.

➛ Those offered provisional Admission should proceed with the Acceptance and Registration processes. The procedure is on the University website.

Alternatively, UNIPORT prospective student can also check their admission status on the JAMB portal by following the procedure outlined below:

1. Go to the JAMB E-Facility portal at jamb.gov.ng/efacility/.

2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.

3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.

4. Select your Exam year and Enter your registration number in the required columns.

5. Finally, click on ‘Check Admission Status‘ to access your UNIABUJA admission status.

The procedure to check the UNIPORT Direct Entry admission list on the portal is as follows:

1. Visit the UNIPORT admission portal by going to https://ecampus.uniport.edu.ng/

2. Enter your username and password to login or supply your JAMB registration number as required on the portal for prospective students.

3. Click on login and check your UNIPORT admission status.
